DESTINATIONS

Lloret de Mar : Not to be missed

Lloret boasts outstanding sites such as Santa Clotilde Gardens (situated next to the sea, ideal for peaceful strolls), the Maritime Museum (to discover Lloret's seafaring history), the town's Indiano and modernist legacy, such as the church of Sant Romà, or Sant Pere del Bosc. Lloret Open Museum : Discover various places of historic, cultural and natural interest. It is open space, without walls, that covers different locations throughout the territory and allows you to find out about the town's heritage. Santa Clotilde Gardens : This wonderful garden was landscaped in a setting of great beauty on top of a cliff with breath-taking views over the sea, and it is a fine specimen of the spirit that animated the Noucentista movement in Catalonia - an early twentieth-century movement for intellectual and aesthetic renewal that found a distinguished spokesman in the writer Eugeni d'Ors. Maritim Museum : This house, a surviving example of the traces of the indianos −those who left for Cuba or the West Indies and came back once they had made their fortune− is one of the few remaining ones in Lloret, together with Casa Font or Can Comadran, right in the heart of the old part of the town. Coast Walks : The best way to take in the essence of Lloret de Mar is enjoying its multiple walking routes that go all along the coast line or that go into the woods, opening to the visitant every secret of the mediterranean flora and fauna.
