Girona-Costa Brava Airport

Girona-Costa Brava airport is an important airport with regard to both tourism and commercial/industrial aviation as it is situated close to the Costa Brava, the Pyrenees, and the cities of Girona and Barcelona which lie 10 and 85 kilometres away, respectively. In 2003 and 2004 the Girona-Costa Brava airport experienced a spectacular period of growth. In fact it reached threee million passengers in 2004, which was 104 percent more than the previous year.
