Pals and The rice Cuisine

The Pals and its Rice Cuisine Gastronomy Campaign started in 1993 when the town council, mills, producers and restaurant owners got together with the objective of disseminating Pals as a tourist municipality and rice as a local product that has been cultivated since the 15th century. 21 years have gone by since then and all of us together have consolidated a tradition, a product and a gastronomy campaign that have positioned Pals as a point of touristic reference and Pals rice as a point of reference in Catalan cuisine. We encourage you to enjoy the campaign by trying out the menus that have been specially put together for the occasion, to discover the properties of the rice and the nooks and crannies of Pals by participating in the activities programmed during the campaign and, in particular, the traditional rice planting in June and harvesting in October.
